Feature Kitchen

FITTED LIKE ROYALTY

This kitchen incorporates functionality in design and seamless integration with the rest of the home, resulting in a beautiful and stylish hub for family and entertaining.

The owners wanted to ensure it would not appear as if it were a workspace. They also wanted this area to integrate harmoniously with the rest of the home. Aesthetic appeal was a key requirement and Intex Industries delivered in all aspects of the design.

Functionality is paramount in any kitchen space and to emphasise this upon first glance, Intex Industries installed cabinets with no handles, utilising the unique Blum Servo-Drive drawer system throughout the entire kitchen. This innovation allows the owners to enjoy their kitchen with a soft touch.

The kitchen is fitted with high-gloss, low maintenance flat style doors, highlighted with LED lighting and other clever Miele appliances. Some of these include an electric induction cooktop, steamer, plate warmer, an insinkerator for reducing waste, a stunning CaesarStone benchtop in ginger and modern, toughened glass splashbacks.
The flow of the kitchen is a major feature. Nothing appears overtly obvious; instead the items complement one another. Intex Industries incorporated several impressive features into the kitchen, including a fully equipped butler’s pantry, which is hidden from view with a full-height smooth sliding opaque glass door, and a cool room.

The unconventional shape of the room posed a design challenge for Intex Industries, which managed to accommodate the difficulty through the careful selection of products and subtle blending of the different textures and components of the kitchen.

Intex Industries specialise in custom made, one-off designs and build throughout Melbourne. Established 25 years ago, the company’s extensive experience means that you are guaranteed to get the quality you pay for.

Intex Industries often work with clients and their architects at the home design stage, and provide computerised, detailed 3D images prior to manufacturing to ensure the end result meets and exceeds expectations.
